Innovation, Entrepreneurship, & Commercialization
The School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering is focused on developing the next generation technologies that will change the way the world works, and Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Commercialization at SICE encourages students to be the leaders of their own future and faculty to commercialize their intellectual property.
Many undergraduates at SICE believe they’re too young or too inexperienced to pursue innovation and entrepreneurship, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Undergrads bring fresh perspectives to old issues, which is the foundation of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship program. We offer a variety of initiatives that range from scholarship programs to mentorship from experienced professionals, including the Shoemaker Scholars Program and the Cross Campus Certificate in Entrepreneurship for Undergraduate Students, which are designed specifically for undergrads.
